Roasted Rice Powder
Roasted Rice Powder: A finely ground, thoroughly dried edible ingredient. Roasting alone does not make a powder: the material must be dry enough to grind, and shelf life cannot be inferred from appearance.
Context
For toasted rice powder, start with dry edible rice, toast evenly without burning, cool and grind. This is different from drying a cooked rice purée; identify the intended form before using it in a recipe.
Example
A menu could use this preparation as a measured dry seasoning. This is an illustrative use, not a standardized recipe.
How THT uses it
At THT, this preparation is considered only when its taste and texture improve the actual dish; we adapt the portion and presentation to the guests.
