Roasted Ginger Powder
Roasted Ginger Powder: A finely ground, thoroughly dried edible ingredient. Roasting alone does not make a powder: the material must be dry enough to grind, and shelf life cannot be inferred from appearance.
Context
Use clean ginger with tough skin removed where necessary. Older roots can be fibrous, so strain smooth sauces and use small amounts before adjusting its heat.
Example
A menu could use this preparation as a measured dry seasoning. This is an illustrative use, not a standardized recipe.
How THT uses it
At The Hidden Table, this preparation would be adjusted to the guests, the course and the ingredient available, so it contributes a clear purpose and helps make the experience distinctly yours.
