Roasted Chile Powder
Roasted Chile Powder: A finely ground, thoroughly dried edible ingredient. Roasting alone does not make a powder: the material must be dry enough to grind, and shelf life cannot be inferred from appearance.
Context
Identify the pepper and its heat level; sweet ají and hot chile are not interchangeable. Avoid inhaling ground hot pepper and offer guests a clear indication of heat.
Example
A menu could use this preparation as a measured dry seasoning. This is an illustrative use, not a standardized recipe.
How THT uses it
At The Hidden Table, this preparation would be adjusted to the guests, the course and the ingredient available, so it contributes a clear purpose and helps make the experience distinctly yours.
