Roasted Beans Crisp
Roasted Beans Crisp: A thin, brittle piece of an edible ingredient or a thin layer of its cooked purée, dried or fried until crisp. Thickness and remaining moisture determine the result; browning alone does not prove crispness.
Context
Use fully cooked beans, not raw dried legumes. Roasting is a finishing step, and adding vinegar later does not substitute for the initial cooking required by the bean variety.
Example
A menu could use this preparation as a last-minute crunchy garnish, kept away from wet sauce. This is an illustrative use, not a standardized recipe.
How THT uses it
At THT, this preparation is considered only when its taste and texture improve the actual dish; we adapt the portion and presentation to the guests.
