Producer Story Card
Producer Story Card is a practical private-dining term that records where an ingredient comes from, what is available and what substitutions are acceptable.
Context
It is useful before service because it gives the host, chef and service team one shared reference instead of leaving an important decision implicit. It is a planning concept, not a promise of one fixed package.
Example
For a villa dinner, the host and chef can confirm the producer story card in writing, note any open questions and update it if the guest count, menu or site conditions change.
